Rationale

The review of the first edition of the M&E Framework 2014 was informed by various pertinent issues arising from its implementation of the 1st edition of the National Monitoring and Evaluation Framework towards Prevention and Response to Sexual and Gender Based Violence in Kenya. During the four-year implementation period, there were notable gaps. The stakeholders expressed the need to revise the Sexual Gender based Violence (SGBV) indicators to respond to the growing and changing dynamics, identified gaps and areas that needed addressing for the national framework to be robust.
